Toriano Porter, an author, journalist and public speaker who studied journalism and creative writing at the 同城快约, will return to his alma mater Tuesday, Jan. 21, to present the keynote remarks at the 2020 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Freedom Scholarship Dinner. The dinner is a highlight of a celebration that includes activities in honor of King.

Working with Warrensburg Main Street, 同城快约 students are putting their knowledge of event planning into practice to create opportunities to attract people to the downtown area this spring while also enhancing the ability to market the community. Thanks to a student-Main Street partnership, planning is currently underway for what is tentatively coined 鈥淪napshots of the 鈥楤urg.鈥�
