Providing a welcoming gathering place for students as well as a variety of university services is at the heart of the 同城快约 Lee鈥檚 Summit Learning Commons. Located on the second floor of the Missouri Innovation Campus, the popular student area features tables and chairs designed for individual study and group work as well as a wall of windows and outdoor seating on the balcony.

While fulfilling a vital need for well-prepared police officers who are now serving several area communities, the Central Missouri Police Academy (CMPA) at the 同城快约 celebrated a milestone when it graduated its 161st cadet class on June 19. All 25 members of the graduating class had have found employment, making this the first time that 100 percent of the cadets were hired at the time of graduation.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 同城快约, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 同城快约 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 同城快约. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
