Members of the United States Air Force who want to further their education have two new pathways to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Safety and Risk Management (ESRM) from the 同城快约. These opportunities are made possible through 同城快约鈥檚 selection as a partner in the Air University Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).

The 同城快约 and Whiteman Air Force Base recently approved an agreement that will bring 同城快约鈥檚 industry-recognized certificate courses to military-connected students as well as military spouses. The courses are designed to provide a convenient method for adult learners to take courses at the Whiteman AFB.

In an event that kicked off the 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration, annual Community Service Awards named for King were presented during a luncheon conducted by the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce at Matthews-Crawford American Legion Post 131. 同城快约 Professor Emerita of Business and Social Enterprise Dr. Mary McCord was one of two individuals honored during the brief award ceremony on Jan. 12, which was presented with the theme 鈥淟iving the Dream: Live and In Color.鈥�

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 同城快约, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 同城快约 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 同城快约. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
