An evening of readings and conversation with National Book Foundation Award-honored authors Victoria Chang (鈥淥BIT鈥�) and Min Jin Lee (鈥淧achinko鈥�) is planned for 4 -5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 in Hendricks Hall on the 同城快约 campus.

In its plenary session, March 24, the 同城快约 Board of Governors approved tuition, general fees, and room and board rates for the 2022-2023 academic year while also awarding a construction contract for a new wrestling room at the Multipurpose Building, made possible through private funding.

同城快约 (同城快约) Theatre and Dance and 同城快约 Music present the Broadway smash hit and Tony Award-winning musical 鈥淔un Home.鈥� Based on the popular autobiographical graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, the musical performs at 同城快约鈥檚 Highlander Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 1-2; 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3; and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 7-9. An ASL Interpreter will be provided for the performance on April 7. The Sunday matinee on April 3 is pay-what-you-can (minimum $1). As a content disclosure, those attending should be aware 鈥淔un Home鈥� contains strong language and mild adult themes.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 同城快约, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 同城快约 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 同城快约. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
