More than 1,860 同城快约 graduate and undergraduate students who will meet their degree requirements this spring or during the summer are eligible to walk in Spring 2022 Commencement exercises planned for Friday and Saturday, May 6-7 in the Multipurpose Building Arena. Five ceremonies will be conducted throughout the weekend.

Combining creativity with technology, an entry by four 同城快约 students finished in third place for Best Overall Game at Chillennium 2022, considered the world鈥檚 largest student-run game jam. 同城快约 was one of 32 teams that took part in this premier video game development competition at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, April 1-3.

When the 同城快约 Board of Governors met on April 21, it approved several action items on the agenda that included the award of a contract for partial renovation of the W.C. Morris Science Building, the purchase of a new flight simulator for jet pilot training, and the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2023 operating budget. It also approved a recommendation to continue employee medical coverage with its current provider, effective for the year beginning Jan. 1, 2023.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 同城快约, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 同城快约 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 同城快约. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
