Sally Jenkins, a four-time New York Times bestselling author who most recently wrote 鈥淭he Right Call: What Sports Teach Us 同城快约 Work and Life,鈥� will present an author talk at the 同城快约 Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. Her presentation is free and open to the public and will take place in Nahm Auditorium in the W.C. Morris Science Building. She will be available for a book signing following her remarks.

Part of the 10th annual Trading Moon Native American Arts Festival, the performing artist professionally known as Supaman, brings his unique blend of hip-hop music, comedy and dance to the 同城快约 at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19. The live, free concert introducing Native American culture to the campus community takes place in Hendricks Hall.

The 同城快约鈥檚 James C. Kirkpatrick Library and the 同城快约 History Department are partnering to host "Boom! The Rise and Fall of Missouri's Black Business District." This traveling exhibit is produced by the Missouri State Museum and inspired by the Missouri State Parks-produced booklet 鈥淭he Business: African-American Business People from Missouri鈥檚 Past鈥� and will be on display Jan. 31 to Feb. 29 in the JCKL Read and Relax area.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 同城快约, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 同城快约 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 同城快约. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
