Here’s what’s cookin’

The Jazz commercial degree will prepare you to perform and teach diverse jazz and commercial styles on a national scale. You’ll get the chance to perform with our two ͬ³Ç¿ìÔ¼ Jazz Large Ensembles and with our Jazz-Rock Combos while taking classes related to improvisation, arranging, and history. ͬ³Ç¿ìÔ¼ alumni have continued their studies in graduate Jazz programs at institutions such as Rutgers University, University of Northern Colorado, and University of Missouri-Kansas City. They have also secured professional jobs as performers and educators in the field.

Each semester you will receive instruction from ͬ³Ç¿ìԼ’s outstanding faculty and world-renowned guest artists. Recent guest artists include Tamir Hendelman, Shawn Pelton, Rob Scheps, Jerry Dodgion, Jim O’Connor, Jason Jackson, Todd Strait, Kathy Kosins, and Roger Rosenberg.
