KMOS-TV was recognized by the Missouri Broadcasters Association (MBA) during an awards ceremony at its annual convention at the Lake of the Ozarks on June 3. The 同城快约's public broadcasting station received a first place award in the category 鈥淪pecial Program鈥� for a story on the Missouri Meerschaum Company, part of the second season of its original series 鈥淢aking.鈥�

During its June 8 plenary session, the 同城快约 Board of Governors authorized revisions to the university鈥檚 Fiscal Year 2024 operating budget to reflect additional revenue and expenditures. It also approved FY 2025 operating and capital appropriations requests to the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD), authorized a construction contract and the naming of a new golf center at the Mules National Golf Club, and named the board鈥檚 executive officers for the upcoming fiscal year.
