The 同城快约 (同城快约) strives to provide a safe campus environment
for all students, employees and visitors. As part of these efforts, 同城快约 is transitioning
from TextCaster to 同城快约Alerts powered by Everbridge as its emergency alert system.
同城快约Alerts are notifications sent via email, text message and push notification to
members of the campus community. They provide essential information about campus closures,
safety alerts, emergencies, severe weather and other significant 同城快约 updates.

同城快约Alerts system provides us with increased capabilities to share critical information
with employees, students and the public,鈥 said Chief Bill Brinkley, director of 同城快约
Public Safety.

to receive notifications about campus closures, safety alerts, emergencies, severe

The campus community will be notified of these updates as they become available.
同城快约Alerts is one part of 同城快约鈥檚 campus communications plan. Official university updates
